Zoë Bowden

I am a procurement, supply chain and sustainability expert with over 20 years of experience across space, aerospace, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. I have led transformative initiatives at global organisations, where I designed and implemented ethical, sustainable procurement strategies and secured millions in cost savings. I am certified in Sustainability Leadership (Imperial College London Business School) and hold Chartered Professional status with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (cMCIPS).

Skills and Social Mobility

I’m passionate about advancing social mobility through Social Value and by accelerating skills development across the workforce of today and tomorrow. In inclusive, diverse growth industries where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, the UK has the potential to become a truly flourishing economic powerhouse.

I am a STEM Ambassador, a Climate Ambassador, and an Unseen Disabilities Ally with many years’ experience in delivering Outreach events in the space industry such as World Space Week and the Brooklands Museum Innovation Academy. I championed various skills initiatives such as the HSDC Alton’s Space Technologies Program at SSTL and in my role as an Advisory Board Member of the Space South Central cluster.
